Getting familiar with the MedPerson Online Platform is a good step towards success for your telemedicine practice. The Group wall is a great place to start. All doctors and specialists registered on the platform are members of the “Doctors Group”. In addition, specialists belong to the “Specialist Group”.

It is important that your profile is 100% complete and includes a recent photo.

You will find documents for use in your clinic on the “Doctors Group Wall” at:  https://medperson.co.uk/pg_groupwalls/clinic-documents/ They include:

ePrescription

Lab Test Request (Haematology, Biochemistry, Microbiology & Immunology)

Radiology Investigation

Sick Note

Medical Report

Specialist Opinion/Referral

Print off the document that you require, sign and send by the platform’s encrypted messaging system to your patient at the end of your consultation. Be sure that “chat” is turned on in your profile. In jurisdictions where “chat” is unavailable, please use email instead.

Specialists can, in addition upload case reports or present unusual cases seen in a grand ward round setting at the “Specialists Group Wall”: https://medperson.co.uk/pg_groupwalls/use-this-space-to-pres/

The MedPerson Android App is a good way to stay in touch with patients “on the go”. If you have not downloaded the app yet, you may do so at the Google Play Store: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=co.medperson.app
